First buy

Optional. Default is zero. Fill stops at 10% of supply. Sellable, no vesting. Airdrop is a slice of that same buy.

A first buy lets you hold some of your own coin at launch. You do not have to use it. Leave spend at 0 to skip. There is no Clanker-style minted vault and no vesting clock.

How to set it

  1. On Create, enter how much quote you want to spend (ETH, USDC, $BASECAT, a wrapped major, or a stock token — the same asset as the pair).
  2. Confirm the launch. The first buy happens in the same transaction, after the pool exists.
  3. Fill stops when the spend is used or you reach 10% of supply.
  4. Leftover quote comes back in that transaction.
  5. You pay the coin’s normal fee, not the anti-snipe start fee.

If the first buy fails, the whole launch fails. You will not get a token without the buy you asked for.

Airdrop (optional slice of this buy)

You can send a percent of this first buy to pasted wallets (or a simple CSV of addresses) in that same launch transaction.

  • Recipients get the new coin, not ETH/AAPL fees.
  • Equal split. No vesting. Bags are sellable — same honesty as your own first buy.
  • Still inside the 10% cap. Nothing extra is minted. Tokens come out of the locked pool, then transfer.
  • Independent of Rewards mode (holders claiming the pair quote) and of BASE 1 Rewards points.
  • Enabled only when first-buy spend is greater than zero. Cap is 50 unique addresses on v1. No Merkle claim page.

Example: you buy 8% of supply. You keep 3%. You airdrop 5% equally. Total is still 8%, under 10%.

Review before you confirm

The review screen shows spend, estimated tokens, percent of supply you will hold at launch, any airdrop split, and that those tokens are not locked. Read it.

Locked vs not

WhatLocked?
Tokens in the poolYes. Forever.
Tokens from your first buyNo. You can sell them.
Tokens airdropped from that buyNo. Recipients can sell them.
Creator feesNo. Claim them, or they go to holders depending on mode.

There is no hidden team allocation. If you want a bag, it is this first buy, and it is public. Traders can price that.

Not affiliated with Coinbase or Base. Contract safety is not price safety. Creators can sell a disclosed first buy. Tokens can go to zero. Not financial advice.
